PURE JOY at a Gainsight Pulse 2022

“I don’t ever want to leave!” are words you probably wouldn’t expect to hear in a conference expo hall. But we heard them spoken countless times at Gainsight Pulse 2022. We brought something to the conference that caused endless smiles and positive feedback: PUPPIES!

Stress and Our Health

We were so thrilled to return to the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA, for this two-day event with over 5000 attendees. We have a long-term partnership with Gainsight and we were so grateful to provide them with another unforgettable Puppy Love experience now that their annual conference was back in person in the Bay Area. Even before the puppies arrived, we were already the talk of the conference. Our space was designed and set up with care specifically for our client. We had laid out bright green turf surrounded by a charming white picket fence. A kiddie pool was overflowing with hundreds and hundreds of colorful balls. Water dishes were filled and doggie beds were fluffled. We were ready to bring in the cutest attendees of the conference!

The magic began as our Puppy Coaches wheeled out the puppies to the expo hall in pet-friendly strollers. Attendees gathered in anticipation around the enclosure. We carefully unzipped the strollers to reveal 1…2…3…a total of 14 precious pups! Fourteen little tails were wagging and ready for playtime and all the pets they could get!

After giving the puppies a few minutes to explore their new giant playpen, we welcomed our guests into the space. The reactions were priceless.

“This is the best idea ever!” “I can’t handle this cuteness!” “I don’t ever want to leave!”

Pulse attendees got to hang out with three fluffy dachshund puppies (Pecas, Charlie, and Lacy), a litter of seven chihuahua/terrier puppies (“The Seven Dwarves”), an energetic cattle dog (Vecna), and a sweet chihuahua momma with her two tiny babies (Minnie, Clarabelle, and Goofy.) All dogs were provided by Fosters and Paws, a local foster-based rescue based in Sacramento, CA. The puppies played fetch, got belly rubs, and posed for many, many selfies. Throughout the conference, participants bonded with their favorite pups and returned to our booth many times for more rounds of snuggles! Over two long days filled with speakers and networking, a little “puppy therapy” is just what these conference participants needed to let loose and relax.

In addition to all the excitement around the puppies, we also loved the unique human interactions that happened in our booth. People traveled to the conference from all over the world, some as far as New Zealand, England, or India! But breaking the ice and getting people to network each other is effortless when dogs are present. Attendees were inspired to share pictures of their pets back at home, talk about their personal involvement with supporting animal rescues, and brainstorm ideas on how they could make their own offices more supportive of mental health wellness. Only at Puppy Love will you see two conference attendees trade business cards while simultaneously getting all the puppy snuggles they could get!

There were many memorable moments at Pulse 2022. Inevitably, puppies will take naps at some point during these longer events. While they always have the option to fall asleep on a doggie bed, many puppies will actually climb into a human lap for their nap. The puppies at this conference were true cuddle bugs. We will never forget the infamous “Seven Dwarves Puppy Pile”—all seven siblings curled up and fell asleep on the same lucky human’s lap!

We’re often asked, “Are these puppies up for adoption?” Yes! In fact, at Pulse 2022, three lucky puppies were adopted by Pulse attendees!

We always partner with local pet rescues to bring in puppies that are currently in foster care. Our experiences are great not only for human wellness, but they also help the puppies learn how to play and socialize in a safe environment! We could tell that these puppies had been sol oved and taken care of by their fosters and we are sure they will all find permanent homes soon. We loved having Fosters and Paws representatives on site to answer any questions about the pups and to facilitate the adoption process.

Thank you to Gainsight Pulse 2022 for letting us bring the magic of Puppy Love to your conference! We were so happy to create such a fun and rejuvenating space for those all who attended. We will never forget seeing all the smiles and hearing the “paws”itive feedback from those who stopped by our booth. It was so incredible for all. We look forward to working with you all again soon!
