How A Corporate Career Woman Made The Switch To Business Owner

How does one go from a 25-year career in the corporate world to running America’s premier puppy party company? That’s the story Voyage Denver wanted to find out in their recent profile of Puppy Love founder, Sabrina Freed!

The answer? After decades of “feeling like a square peg in a round hole”, Freed it was finally time for a change. It required a lot of soul searching, advice, and eventually a monumental leap of faith to open a business that reflected her true passion.

Combining her business savvy and love of dogs didn’t always seem like it’d be a home run idea, but Freed persevered and found a way to create a unique opportunity in the corporate wellness space.

Some of the initial challenges? Finding rescue partners, honing in on a marketing strategy, and of course, all the basic logistics of getting a puppy event to work!

Today, Freed can say it’s all been worth it. And if you’ve recently had an event from Puppy Love, you’ll heartily agree! From wagging tales and smiling faces, a Puppy Love event has everything that makes it the perfect option for corporate wellness programs, fundraising events — and more!

The biggest lesson Freed has taken from the experience? “The greatest rewards come from taking risks and stepping outside of your comfort zone!”
