Sabrina Freed founded Puppy Love™ in 2016. Sabrina’s deep love of animals and their well-being combined with her 20-years of experience with large-scale corporate events created a health and wellness outlet for corporate Americas EAP. This perfect blend of passion and skill facilitated her creation of stunningly unique and memorable corporate wellness experiences – with rescue puppies!
Ironically, Sabrina was terrified of animals until she was a young adult. Overcoming this fear, she realized the immense calm and joy these creatures brought to her life. Ever since, she has been a passionate advocate for all animals – especially dogs.
From her event experience, Sabrina recognized how employees would benefit from puppy interaction in their workplace – as would their employers (i.e., worker retention, efficiency, and wellness). Additionally, she wanted to introduce adoptable rescue puppies to a wider audience and give back to her rescue partners. Sabrina’s proud of the fact that Puppy Love™ gives 20% of all proceeds back into the local animal community.
Sabrina’s unique and revolutionary concept of Puppy Love™ company came to fruition in San Francisco and now provides services throughout Northern and Southern California. Puppy Love™ is expanding rapidly and hopes to bring their unique brand of joy to event collaborations across the country!

In the early days of Puppy Love™, Sabrina went to the Milo Foundation to pick up pups for her next event. Just as she walked in the door, she saw Becca and Toffee – two dogs of the same breed (Papillons) who were as adorable as could be. She brought them and four other pups to her next event and the two of them loved every bit of attention they received.
As she went to return the six pups, Sabrina realized she just could not let go of Becca and Toffee. In that moment, she recognized she needed them as much as they needed her. They deserved this second chance in life, and she wanted them together in hers. They are the perfect duo, the best of friends, beloved Puppy Love™ mascots and the most wonderful snuggle buddies!
Happy employees who feel valued and secure are significantly healthier and more productive than those that feel unappreciated. How many companies do you know that do not take the time to invest in employee wellness? We save you training dollars with increased retention and decreased absenteeism. We foster team spirit with positive work relationships, and as studies show, happier employees are healthier employees, which keeps not only their personal medical expense down, it also helps keep your annual renewal premiums lower.
We are also excited to increase adoption awareness and increase the possibility of finding our rescue puppies forever homes! When someone falls in love with one of our furry friends, we will happily put you in touch with the rescue agency to help initiate the adoption process!
Who doesn’t want to come to the office when there are puppies? Nothing makes the workplace more attractive than knowing there are adorable furry creatures to frolic with.
For employees who have never met or who don’t know each other well – or even those who do, puppies are an amazing conversation starter and bonding experience.
Daily work saturation can get overwhelming. A few minutes of Puppy Love™ organically clears minds and boosts serotonin, leading to a positive attitude re-adjustment.
When employees feel appreciated, all good things come – including the desire to work and do well for the company.
The photo opps and buzz factor around a Puppy Love™ experience are unparalleled. Smiles will abound as photos are shared and the afterglow continues all through the day!
We all know the feeling of stress at work – looming deadlines, performance reviews, etc. A few minutes playing with puppies makes all that melt away and allows employees to lower their anxiety levels.
Even the most conscientious workplace can be stress-filled. We believe cuddling and playing with puppies is an ideal way to restore the balance. In fact, scientific studies have shown positive therapeutic effects from animal interaction – including decreasing blood pressure and reduced levels of cortisol.
Puppy Love™ founder Sabrina Freed combined her two key passions: creating outstanding events and animal advocacy. A pioneer in the field of high-profile conferences Sabrina realized firsthand how employees would benefit from puppies in the workplace, and likewise, how employers would see results in worker efficiency, and wellness. A wonderful give-back, Puppy Love also donates 20% of all proceeds back into the local rescue community.
Puppy Love was started in San Francisco and serves all areas of northern and southern California. We also partner with rescues nationwide to provide Puppy Love experiences across the U.S.
