Keynotes, sessions, round tables, networking and PUPPY PLAYTIME. That’s what you got if you were at the Food on Demand conference at the Bellagio in Las Vegas! This premier event brings together the foodservice industry’s leaders in mobile ordering and delivery, showcasing the latest innovations transforming how consumers discover, shop, order, and enjoy food in our increasingly digital world.
Amidst the high-energy buzz of keynotes and business discussions, one unexpected highlight stood out: puppies. Thanks to a partnership with Dlivrd, attendees were treated to a puppy playroom experience that offered a much-needed moment of zen during the fast-paced event.
Dlivrd, a tech-forward logistics company specializing in the delivery of catering and large food orders, sponsored the puppy lounge. The space, complete with a velvet rope entrance and plush puppy park setup, was full of smiles. Several of the playful pups in attendance were named after tea drinks—like Boba, Oolong and Earl Grey—a delightful nod to the food and beverage theme of the conference and the services Dlivrd offers.
The puppies came from Wagging Tails Rescue, a Las Vegas–based nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of at-risk dogs by finding them loving forever homes. Their collaboration with Puppy Love™ and Dlivrd not only brought joy to attendees but also raised awareness for animal adoption and rescue.
“Why puppies at a food tech conference?” many attendees asked with a smile. The answer is simple. According to Puppy Love™, which helped coordinate the activation, interacting with animals offers proven therapeutic benefits—lowering stress, enhancing mood, and promoting mental wellness. The transformation was visible. As one conference-goer put it:
“This is therapy I didn’t know I needed today!”
With meaningful sessions, innovative insights, and heartwarming puppy cuddles, the Food On Demand Conference proved that business and wellness truly can go paw-in-paw.
“The Puppy Love™ experience was an absolute hit—everyone was talking about it throughout the conference, and it brought such a fun and memorable energy to the event. You definitely helped make Dlivrd stand out, which was exactly the goal!”
