Meet Our Puppy Coaches

Being a Puppy Coach and Client Services Manager for Puppy Love™ Northern California is a perfect fit for Shelley. With a true knack for corporate event planning, as well as a fondness for sharing the joy that puppies contribute to well-being, Shelley looks forward to meeting you before or during your next event. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, gardening and exploring different cultures. Shelley’s words to live by- eat, sleep, cuddle, repeat!

Meet Ivy – a lover of all things spicy, tabasco-slathering, dog-obsessed foodie extraordinaire. By day, she juggles multiple hats as a full-time commercial assistant property manager, realtor, and puppy coach Puppy Love™ Northern California! When she’s not helping people find their dream homes, managing a 40 story high-rise, or obsessing over (your) furry friends, you can find her in the kitchen, cooking up a storm and leaving a trail of Tabasco bottles in her wake. And, because why not, she also moonlights as a notary and occasional wedding officiant (but that’s a story for another time!)

Chris’s love for dogs runs deep, so getting paid to hang out and take care of puppies is the best job in the world. Sometimes, she even takes a few puppies home for a sleepover and a Puppy Love party of her own! As someone who has felt the benefits of having dogs in her life, Chris loves being able to share that joy with others—and help find rescue pups permanent homes.

If you have the opportunity to work with Kayla, you know that not only is she incredibly kind and a joy to be around—she’s determined to accomplish her goals. Not only did she go through intense training to become a flight attendant, she also was crowned Miss California in 2022! And while those are amazing accomplishments, Kayla shines the most when she’s surrounded by rescue puppies.

If you think puppies have a lot of energy, wait until you meet Jessica! Recently married, Jessica loves to run marathons and is studying to be a physical therapist. In between all that, she’s mom to an adorable new puppy. Of course, one puppy isn’t enough for her! In addition to working with our rescue pups as a Puppy Love™ Northern California coach, Jessica fosters dogs whenever she can. We’re grateful for her energy on our team!

Marissa wears many hats, including flight attendant, realtor, and beloved Puppy Coach with Puppy Love™ Northern California. Her favorite title besides Puppy Coach is wife. We love having Marissa on our team!

A true Sagittarius, Puppy Coach Stephanie loves to have fun, and what’s more fun than puppies? When Stephanie isn’t working with us at Puppy Love™ Northern California, she likes to exercise her creativity as a nail artist, chow down on delicious food, and spend time with her adorable pitbull, Mickey.

Joe is a huge sports fan and loves to fish and he loves caring for our puppies even more! Joe always has a smile on his face when he works as a coach at Puppy Love™ Northern California events, or when he talks about his own precious pitbull.

As a health, life and fitness coach, and dog lover, Sandy knows firsthand how spending time with animals can improve your wellbeing. When she’s not working as a Puppy Coach with Puppy Love™ Northern California and improving the lives of others, she enjoys cooking and being a mom to her two (human) girls.

Cheryl and her family LOVE puppies and dogs and specialize in fostering pregnant dogs. In the last six years, they’ve rescued over 650 pups! When she’s not working with Puppy Love™ Northern California Puppy Coach, or taking care of her family and fosters, Cheryl works as a schoolteacher.

An loves to travel and soar the skies as a flight attendant. When she has to be on the ground, she loves to be around our puppies! The rescue puppies just adore An—and the feeling is mutual! When she isn’t flying or spending time with furry friends at Puppy Love™ Northern California events, An likes to exercise her creativity and make beautiful jewelry.
