Meet Our Puppy Coaches

Being a Puppy Coach and Client Services Manager for Puppy Love™ Northern California is a perfect fit for Shelley. With a true knack for corporate event planning, as well as a fondness for sharing the joy that puppies contribute to well-being, Shelley looks forward to meeting you before or during your next event. In her spare time, she enjoys painting, gardening and exploring different cultures. Shelley’s words to live by- eat, sleep, cuddle, repeat!

When she’s not cruising at 35,000 feet, Lindsay is soaking up all the puppy snuggles she can. As a flight attendant, commercial pilot, and flight instructor, her schedule keeps her sky-high, which makes her time as a Puppy Coach even more meaningful. Since she can’t have a pup of her own (for now!), helping our rescues get love and socialization brings her so much joy and plenty of tail wags too.

Meet Ivy – a lover of all things spicy, tabasco-slathering, dog-obsessed foodie extraordinaire. By day, she juggles multiple hats as a full-time commercial assistant property manager, realtor, and puppy coach Puppy Love™ Northern California! When she’s not helping people find their dream homes, managing a 40 story high-rise, or obsessing over (your) furry friends, you can find her in the kitchen, cooking up a storm and leaving a trail of Tabasco bottles in her wake. And, because why not, she also moonlights as a notary and occasional wedding officiant (but that’s a story for another time!)

Chris’s love for dogs runs deep, so getting paid to hang out and take care of puppies is the best job in the world. Sometimes, she even takes a few puppies home for a sleepover and a Puppy Love™ party of her own! As someone who has felt the benefits of having dogs in her life, Chris loves being able to share that joy with others—and help find rescue pups permanent homes.

If you have the opportunity to work with Kayla, you know that not only is she incredibly kind and a joy to be around—she’s determined to accomplish her goals. Not only did she go through intense training to become a flight attendant, she also was crowned Miss California in 2022! And while those are amazing accomplishments, Kayla shines the most when she’s surrounded by rescue puppies.

If you think puppies have a lot of energy, wait until you meet Jessica! Recently married, Jessica loves to run marathons and is studying to be a physical therapist. In between all that, she’s mom to an adorable new puppy. Of course, one puppy isn’t enough for her! In addition to working with our rescue pups as a Puppy Love™ Northern California coach, Jessica fosters dogs whenever she can. We’re grateful for her energy on our team!

A true Sagittarius, Puppy Coach Stephanie loves to have fun, and what’s more fun than puppies? When Stephanie isn’t working with us at Puppy Love™ Northern California, she likes to exercise her creativity as a nail artist, chow down on delicious food, and spend time with her adorable pitbull, Mickey.

Joe is a huge sports fan and loves to fish and he loves caring for our puppies even more! Joe always has a smile on his face when he works as a coach at Puppy Love™ Northern California events, or when he talks about his own precious pitbull.

As a health, life and fitness coach, and dog lover, Sandy knows firsthand how spending time with animals can improve your wellbeing. When she’s not working as a Puppy Coach with Puppy Love™ Northern California and improving the lives of others, she enjoys cooking and being a mom to her two (human) girls.

Cheryl and her family LOVE puppies and dogs and specialize in fostering pregnant dogs. In the last six years, they’ve rescued over 650 pups! When she’s not working with Puppy Love™ Northern California Puppy Coach, or taking care of her family and fosters, Cheryl works as a schoolteacher.

An loves to travel and soar the skies as a flight attendant. When she has to be on the ground, she loves to be around our puppies! The rescue puppies just adore An—and the feeling is mutual! When she isn’t flying or spending time with furry friends at Puppy Love™ Northern California events, An likes to exercise her creativity and make beautiful jewelry.

Michelle grew up with and has always had a soft spot for dogs. With a Shih Tzu mix and a Goldendoodle at home, her house is full of paws and personality, so becoming a Puppy Coach was the easiest yes. Every event fills her heart and is a fresh reminder of why this work matters so much.

Shazia has loved dogs for as long as she can remember, and her passion for animal rescue began back in high school when she started volunteering with local organizations. At home, she’s a proud mom to two fur babies and two amazing human babies, so life is always full of love, energy, and a little bit of chaos. When she’s not spending time with pups, she enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, and photography. As a Puppy Coach, Shazia loves helping puppies grow in confidence while creating positive experiences that support their journey, because every puppy has its own personality and story to share.

Angie is a coach and consultant for regenerative business leaders, but her favorite title might just be Puppy Coach. She once went from being terrified of big dogs to pulling the ESA card on her landlord so she could bring home Togo, her beloved German Shepherd-Husky mix, and she’s never looked back. Now a fully converted dog mom, Angie keeps her days colorful with a treat-filled fanny pack, a community dog calendar, and an annual doggy snow cabin for her dog parent crew. Being around puppies has brought even more joy into her life, and she loves being part of the magic that helps rescue pups build confidence and connection.

Kathy’s background is in project management, but her first real puppy love was Yoshi, a Morkie she loved to spoil. That affection for animals inspired her to open a retail “bowtique” in California filled with fun dog and cat accessories, a dream that matched her playful spirit perfectly. After closing the store and retiring in Las Vegas, Kathy now spends her days with her three Goldendoodles and gets her puppy fix at Puppy Love Party events. Seeing how puppies bring smiles and comfort to people is one of the most rewarding parts of being a Puppy Coach.

Meet Shanna, a woman who spends her days surrounded by tiny paws, big personalities, and nonstop puppy energy. From zoomies to snuggles, every event brings its own mix of chaos, cuteness, and pure joy, and Shanna wouldn’t have it any other way. A flight attendant turned pilot, she brings a strong, capable presence wherever she goes, along with a deep appreciation for the happiness puppies bring to people’s lives. She’s powerful, warm, and right at home in the middle of the puppy buzz.

Originally from Maine, Jessica has called Las Vegas home for the past 15 years. She’s spent much of that time working in restaurants and hospitality recruitment, so she knows how to make people feel welcome and cared for. Jessica enjoys time with her husband and two little girls, hiking with her dogs Walter and Bartlebee, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. Besides the puppy kisses, her favorite part of being a Puppy Coach is seeing the joy on people’s faces when they cuddle and play with the puppies.

Misty is originally from Hawaii and has spent the past 24 years training, boarding, and working with animal rescues across three countries. Helping animals has always been her true passion, and that lifelong dedication shines through in everything she does. One of her favorite parts of being with Puppy Love is watching the mood in the room change as soon as the puppies arrive. Serious faces soften, stress melts away, and people start smiling without even realizing it.

When she’s not traveling the world as a flight attendant, Alyssa loves spending time with animals and helping care for friends’ pets. She’s seen firsthand how a dog’s presence can bring comfort, happiness, and a little bit of peace to people’s lives. As a Puppy Coach, she especially enjoys watching rescue puppies connect with event attendees and seeing the joy that grows on both sides. Being part of a journey that can lead a puppy to its forever family is what she loves most.

Dogs are Michelle’s love language, and she has always had a special place in her heart for her soul dog, a French Bulldog named Parker. Since Parker passed, Michelle has spent her free time caring for other dogs in any way she can. She has also been a flight attendant for nearly 10 years, which makes Puppy Coach a perfect fit for her schedule and her heart. She loves the puppy time, the positive energy, and the joy of seeing pups connect with people and, sometimes, find their forever homes.
