Workplace Wellness, One Puppy Cuddle at a Time

Puppy Love was thrilled to return to the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) Conference, this time in sunny San Diego, to bring four-legged joy to thousands of HR professionals focused on building healthier, happier workplaces.

With over 340,000 members in 180 countries, SHRM supports organizations in creating environments where people and businesses thrive. And at the 2025 conference, that mission was front and center on the bustling tradeshow floor of the San Diego Convention Center.

Puppy Love partnered with Pet Partners, a pet insurance provider and proud SHRM member, who invited us into their booth with four adoptable schnauzer mix puppies. Buzz about the pups started long before the event opened, and when the doors finally did, attendees made a beeline straight for the booth.

Over two days, the Pet Partners booth became the most talked-about spot at the conference. Attendees took puppy breaks, asked about adoptions, and soaked up the good vibes. Two lucky pups even found their forever homes. And the socialization they received from hundreds of friendly faces made the experience rewarding for everyone, especially the dogs.

To top it off, the pups made a special appearance at Pet Partners’ private happy hour, where they stole the show once again.
