Enthusiastic exclamations filled the air at the VMWare 2023 conference in Las Vegas as attendees entered the soothing sanctuary known as the Puppy Lounge. This event brought together a vibrant community of tech enthusiasts, innovators and leaders, all united by their mission to shape the dynamic landscape of the multi-cloud era. Amidst the whirlwind of activity, the conference center pulsed with energy with adorable puppies at the heart of it all, mirroring the attendee’s boundless energy and drive.
The VMWare Puppy Lounge, a wiggly haven of delight, was a prominent feature throughout the four-day conference. Energetic puppies of every size and breed reigned supreme, capturing the hearts of attendees who eagerly made multiple visits a day to snuggle these furry bundles of love. The Puppy Lounge quickly became the talk of the conference, with voices echoing with praise like “brilliant,” “a conference highlight,” and “much-needed happiness.”
One of the most heartwarming experiences was witnessing attendees peeking into the lounge, and after an invitation to come in, watching the joy and sheer elation cross over their faces as a puppy was gently placed in their arms.
For this event, Vegas Roots Rescue, our esteemed rescue partner, delivered an adorable group of 8 to 10 precious pups every day. The variety was simply astounding, ranging from spry eight-week-old pups to those with a year of wisdom under their collar. The sizes spanned from small to large, and the breeds included German Shepherds, Staffordshire Bull Terriers, dachshunds, and, of course, the beloved mutt. With such diversity, there was a furry friend for every discriminating taste. Attendees adored having the chance to experience a taste of the friendly and affectionate bond that pets offer, if only for a short amount of time.
This marked our second collaboration with VMWare, and we are confident it won’t be the last. The profound impact on the health and wellness of the 10,000+ attendees was readily apparent by the long lines, the abundance of ear-to-ear grins, and the heartfelt exclamations of joy that filled the air. With a team of warm-hearted and caring staff from VMWare and The Venetian Expo Center, we effortlessly created a top-tier wellness experience that left attendees feeling as refreshed and invigorated as a leisurely stroll in the park. This collaboration is not a fleeting connection; it’s a bond that’s here to stay!
